The Global Association of Certified Pastoral Counselors (GAOCPC) welcomes applications from individuals seeking professional certification in Christian counseling, chaplaincy, and pastoral care. GAOCPC certifications are professional credentials that recognize appropriate preparation, experience, ethical accountability, and commitment to Christ-centered service. Applicants are expected to review eligibility requirements carefully before submitting an application.
Applicants may apply for one of the following GAOCPC certifications:
• Certified Christian Counselor (C.C.C.)
• Certified Pastoral Counselor (C.P.C.)
• Certified Chaplain (C.Ch.)
• Board Certified Christian Counselor (B.C.C.C.)
• Board Certified Chaplain (B.C.Ch.)
All applicants are required to submit the following as part of the certification
process:
• Completed application form
• Statement of Christian faith and calling
• Proof of relevant education or training
• Ministry or professional experience summary
• Agreement to adhere to the GAOCPC Code of Ethics
• Application and processing fee
GAOCPC certifications are professional credentials and do not constitute academic degrees, licensure, or government-issued qualifications. Certification affirms competence and accountability within Christian ministry and helping professions.
