This designation is a senior-level certification for chaplains with extensive training, experience, and demonstrated leadership capacity. It recognizes advanced competency in chaplaincy care, supervision, ethical decision-making, and institutional ministry.
The published initial certification fee is the complete package price. The $50 application fee and $100 examination fee form part of that total and are not charged in addition to it.
The application and examination portion becomes non-refundable after application review or examination access has begun. Payment does not guarantee certification. Approval remains subject to education, experience, ethics, practicum, examination, competency, and final board-review requirements.
Applicants are required to submit documentation for certification review and eligibility assessment.
