GAOCPC is committed to maintaining ethical accountability, professional integrity, public trust, and responsible certification oversight through a fair and documented review process.

Ethics & Professional Accountability

Certified members of GAOCPC are expected to maintain ethical conduct, professional boundaries, honesty, confidentiality, accountability, and responsible ministry practice in all professional and pastoral care environments.

GAOCPC may review complaints involving ethical misconduct, abuse of authority, professional negligence, misrepresentation, confidentiality violations, inappropriate conduct, or behavior inconsistent with the organization’s Code of Ethics.

GAOCPC conducts an initial review to determine whether the complaint falls within certification oversight and ethics review jurisdiction.
